Bidrage med feedbackFor the first time Saturday night. The hotel takes you to Lucy and Desi. Photos of large entertainers line the walls and the hotel entrance has a beautiful spiral staircase. My eyes didn't know where to look. It was absolutely amazing. We ate in the restaurant. The food was excellent, but most of the evening was live entertainment. Singer Christine Liebe just took our breath. She was amazing! What a magical place that is. When you come to the desert, make sure that this is going on your list of places. You'll go with a huge smile on your face. I promise!
Easy check in process. And friendly staff. Everything is beautiful I love the I love Lucy portraits. The pool was heated and such a pretty area near the golf course. Clean spacious rooms with balcony’s. Free breakfast is included.
My only complaint, which prevents me from giving a full five stars, is the so-called "deluxe" continental breakfast. Based on other reviews, this has been an ongoing issue for years, so I doubt they're interested in making changes. The breakfast included bread, hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, and the usual grab-and-go fruits (apples, oranges, bananas). Some fresh berries or nuts to accompany the oatmeal would be nice, as well as scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon. It wasn’t terrible, but I’ve had better at a Comfort Inn, so I had higher expectations here. Perhaps if they stopped labeling it as a deluxe breakfast, it wouldn’t set expectations so high.
My daughter, her young kids, and I spent a few relaxing days by the pool. The food in Indian Wells is excellent. The hotel features live entertainment, I believe, six nights a week. We really enjoyed the music and atmosphere, which brought back the glamour of the 1940s with crooners performing. My 7-year-old granddaughter was absolutely thrilled, and even the 4-year-old and 18-month-old were engaged. While the hotel is older, it has been nicely renovated, though the carpet in the dining area could use some improvement. The pool and hot tub are fantastic—clean and well-maintained. The poolside service for food and drinks is quite good, and the view is stunning. Most of the staff are friendly and attractive. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
The beds are comfortable, the pool is fantastic, and there's a lovely scent of fresh grass from the golf course. The resort has a modern feel, yet it exudes a vintage charm reminiscent of classic Hollywood photos. I would have given it a 5-star rating if it weren't for the overpriced food and drinks, as well as some issues with the bathroom. However, the service, rooms, and overall presentation were truly excellent. I recommend it!
