Slim Chickens - Independence

The food was good, but the trip thru took about 30 minutes and there was only 1 car in front of us. They gave us the wrong taste of milkshakes and forgot part of my order. The staff was friendly. I wasn't pulled off the window, so I said something and they corrected it quickly, but I just don't know if I wanted to go back and wait so long.

I want to love it here! But every time I place a curbside order, I get it 10-15 minutes past the promised time. Today was a simple order-two chicken sandwiches. I?m still waiting for it 11 minutes past the promised time. Too bad-the food is usually good. The service is not.

On Wednesday, ask about their special deal. Let them know that Llucky sent you! I walked into big smiles with some fresh BOMB chicken fingers. Finger licking good. Open barn style dining room ketchup at ease.

We have driven by here many times but it had never been the right time to stop. Yesterday it was the right time and we were happy that it was. Food was hot and delicious. Chicken strips and wings with very light breading. There are numerous (15+ sauce choices and you can order your chicken tossed in sauce or on the side. We opted for on the side with Korean BBQ, Sweet Red Chili and Ranch. All were very good and we will try others and tossed in the future. Service was fast and thorough with Management oversight and intervention when needed. Overall very good and we wish we had one closer.

I?ve tried to give this slim chicken location so many opportunities and each time they fail. I am an understanding person, but my patience runs out eventually. The first time they forgot a meal and charged me for it. The second time I found a long piece of blond hair in my food and now the chicken sandwich I received didn?t look thoroughly cooked.
