Mcclain Group El Pico - Independence

The restaurant is very clean. Ambiente is quiet and fun. Our server was amazing. She checked us regularly but didn't float. The food portions are good and accurate and the food tastes fresh. Will it be determined? back!!!

Good food good food my first time there I think they've been open about 10 years

I thought the food was delicious and our waiter was really attentive and friendly, super cool, I believe he was the only waiter on hand, as well and he was working his butt off, for real, hats off to him. I think the location is pretty awesome, really nice vibe and aesthetic, it's a little small and cozy which was nice. My only gripe is that I do think the prices are a little high, at least versus the portions.

Their Steak Street Tacos are Fabulous and you get plenty of steak in each taco along with beans and rice and cilantro and onion and avocado topping. The steak is the best that I have had so far in a street taco. Very good quality for the price of $17. The service is excellent and the employees are friendly and concerned about your enjoyment. I intend to be a repeating customer.

I had a pleasant evening at Independence Square and felt like enjoying a margarita. El Pico caught my eye, as it seemed inviting, so I decided to go in. A young, friendly waitress welcomed me and offered me a table outside, where I could sip my drink while my kids played Pokemon nearby. She also brought me a basket of chips and salsa, allowing me to soak in the nice evening air. I’m looking forward to trying her dinner menu next time!
