Mangiare Italian - Independence

This place is fast becoming one of our favorites. Great food, great staff, great ambiance. Can't recommend this place enough!

To be completely honest, the kind service is the most desirable thing. The restaurant is not in a coveted location and once you walk inside, it was very humid and had a funky smell. The waitresses were on top of it, we were promptly seated and our order taken. Our food came out fairly quickly but was quite disappointing itself. I ordered the pasta classico, the sauce was watery and the pasta was dry but the waitress was very amiable and tried very hard to make it better. She gave me another sauce which sufficed. Overall I wouldn’t return but I appreciate them having good service.

Food was absolutely delicious. Emma was an incredible waitress.

When you first walk in the door there is a faint musty odor but it’s not a deal breaker and you’ll forget all about it quickly. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food. I had spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious. We will go back.

I have lived here for two years, and driven by too many times. Tonight my mother and I decided to give it a try before heading to a play. We were promptly sat, and quickly brought bread and water. Our server Bailey came and greeted us. She was very nice with a wonderful energy. She knew the menu and spoke about the special in detail as well. We were able to grab a few things off the Happy Hour menu. I do recommend the sample plate of salads for sure I got the special a Chicken Parmesan with a beautiful creamy basil pasta. Accompanied for some lovely vegetables. My mom got the Tortellini with squash and mushrooms. Again, so tasty! The decor was great with the old doors, windows, and such included in it's design. I would like to sit outside before the rainy season for sure. As well as try the bigger room they have a available. What a gem this place turned out to be tonight.
