Bidrage med feedbackI ordered by postmates and got drunk noodles and yellow coconut curry. Not only the delivery here early!!! Both dishes were AMAZING! I plucked crispy pork with one side for the drunk noodles. Every bite was perfect. I wanted to eat after I was full, just because it was so good. My fist had the coconut curry and he was in love with the first bite.
We were craving some thai food one night and decided to check this place out. It's apparently one of John Legend and Chrissy's fav place to eat in SD. So we had to try it out. Came here late on a Saturday night and the place wasn't too packed. Got a table within 10 minutes. The service was nice, but soooo slow. Ordered the Thai tea which was delicious. Perfectly sweetened.
My fiancé and I are new to imperial area and we were excited about this place. They have great prices, we spent less than 20 bucks for dinner for 2. Taste was ok, my fiancé’s dish (basil chicken something was very good) but my teriyaki plate was not as good, chicken was dry and it had a weird smell. The girl who helped us was so so so so nice and efficient, that’s why I’m giving 4 stars. We’ll definitely going back! Update: we went to this place again and we both had curries, and they were so so good!
I tried two dishes at this restaurant and ordered both with the highest spice level, a 10. The pad Thai was actually quite good, though it didn’t pack as much heat as I expected. However, the drunken noodles were not as impressive, which is why I’m deducting a star. They were somewhat improved by the heavy use of chili powder, but I still didn’t enjoy them as much. The service was friendly and reasonably quick, but I didn't really experience much interaction. Overall, I would return, but I’d stick with the pad Thai, which was really delicious, or I might try something new.
The flavors are incredible! You definitely need to try the Drunk Noodles and the Thai Roasted Rice. Both dishes have a unique taste that you won't forget. Absolutely fantastic!
