Ib Thai - Imperial Beach

I've been putting off trying this restaurant for quite some time, but I finally decided to order some takeout, and wow, it was definitely worth the wait! I picked up their Yellow Curry, spicy Chicken Cashew, Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai, shrimp Fresh Spring Rolls, and side orders of fried and white rice. Every dish was delicious! I highly recommend placing a phone order to avoid the wait; the place was bustling with pick-up orders when I arrived. I could see a few walk-in customers who seemed to have been waiting for a while.

So far we've had the yellow curry, the fried rice, and the orange chicken. I really enjoyed the curry. It's rich, hearty, and full of flavor. Mine had just a hint of heat. The fried rice was OK. We also really enjoyed the the orange chicken, which we almost didn't try after reading a couple spotty reviews, but we went ahead and ordered it and it was delicious! We both thought it was better than Panda. This place is not as big or as fancy as the other 2 Thai places on Palm or Seacoast, and the parking can be tricky, but the food doesn't disappoint! Can't wait to try some of the noodle dishes.

The best vegetable soup for the sick season! We always get the large soup and it’s a perfect size for two soup bowls.

There food is amazing however the price is a lil high i paid maybe twice more what i woupd anywhere else buuuuuut the quality is twice as better as it is anywhere else so im not complaining

We have ordered from this place and each time they go above and beyond with quantity and quality. Can’t beat the price. We always order papaya salad, pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles and mango sticky rice. We have compared it to neighboring Thai restaurants and none have checked off our boxes like IB Thai. We are forever customers!
