Il Pituti Breaktime - IMPERIA

Il Pituti is a magnificent (the best in Imperia restaurant for breakfast, lunch and diner at the old harbour of Imperia. We have been coming here since they opened the place, and we keep coming back year after year to the loving familia who are running the restaurant. La Nonna (a lovely lady, la mia nonna Italiana! is in the kitchen cooking the best Italian and local food of Imperia, with a very high quality. Manuala is also a very lovely lady (more or less the hostess of the place but also prepares amazing meals who is very outgoing, funny and social. The waiters are also very friendly and understanding to foreign people. Then the food, in one word: amazing! La Nonna cooks the best pasta i have ever eaten! You can really taste the passion and joy in the food they serve. Also, the meat, pizza’s and fish dishes are very tasty. The value for money at Il Pituti is sublime, comparing to other restaurants in Imperia. The location is also very charming, in front of the old harbour. I would highly recommend everyone to go to Il Pituti and enjoy the lovely family who is running the restaurant with their amazing food, you will not regret it!

Most distgusting Fritto misto ever, and we had to wait forever. Stay away and rather visit the nice cafe next door.

We stayed in this place at lunch on a working Monday and in fact we were the only customers in that fringe. However, quiet place, fish-based menu (fried anchovies and oven grill) 1 stracchino/zucchine grill and cooked ham (variant compared to the bacon originally,) we liked. friendly service and online price.

A fabulous dinner to finish off an amazing day trip to Italy! Food was excellent, fabulous value for money the service faultless. Lovely view of the harbour.
