Bidrage med feedbackThroughout our meal, she consistently displayed a negative attitude, rolling her eyes at various points. When I asked for a refill of my Pibb (which would have been my third), she looked at me in disbelief as if three drinks were insane. When it was time to pay, the checks were split incorrectly, causing an additional wait of about 10–15 minutes while adjustments were made. We also had to wait a long time for our food (about an hour), but we understood that with a large group, delays can happen. The only positive was that everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. As a fellow server, I found it perplexing that our server complained about the restaurant being slow and hinted that she needed a different job. It’s hard to comprehend why someone struggling financially would complain about handling a big party and then provide such poor service. She should have seized the opportunity to earn a good tip! I left the decision of her tip amount to my nephew, who, thankfully, is generous at just six years old. However, her attitude desperately needs improvement. I usually love Rib City, and this was my first visit to this location, but I can say for certain that I won’t be returning.
We had a wonderful lunch today at Rib City in Immokalee, FL. Our waitress, who has been there for 10 years, was fantastic and very friendly. All four of us ordered the half slab of ribs for lunch, accompanied by two delicious sides and toast. Every staff member was really friendly and consistently checked in on us.
Upon entering, we waited for about five minutes without any greeting. I noticed a girl behind the plexiglass at the cashier station who looked at us but never acknowledged our presence or said hello. Another girl, possibly taking a takeout order nearby, kept glancing at us but also didn’t say anything. After we were finally seated, our waitress was pleasant, but many other servers appeared unprofessional—cell phones hanging out of their pockets and drinks awkwardly held under their arms as they made their way to the tables. I understand this is in Immokalee and there might not be much competition, but they really need to improve their appearance if they want to maintain a good brand image. We love the location in North Fort Myers! As for the food, I ordered the brisket, which was quite tasty but clearly reheated rather than freshly made. It wasn’t as tender as I’ve had at other locations, but I can see how, in a more remote area, pre-slicing and bagging brisket might be necessary to avoid running out. I had no complaints about the food itself; my wife enjoyed her chicken fingers. I would consider stopping by again if heading to Hard Rock, especially since a Delmonico there is a $76 rip-off. If you visit this Rib City, just enjoy the good BBQ and try not to look around too much—I'm guilty of that myself!
I would rate the food negatively if I could. My husband and I visited today for a late lunch, and we both fell ill just five minutes after leaving. We have been unwell ever since. We ordered the same dish, and unfortunately, we ended up spending $40 for food poisoning. We will not be returning to this place. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch
The food was great! The coleslaw was delicious, and the green beans were just as tasty. We dined in and had a wonderful experience. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.
