Great ambiance and superb food! The service is great as well. It's a slow food restaurant so it's understandable that your orders take some time to come out.

Definitely worth a visit in Iloilo. The place was an ancestral home converted to a Filipino food restaurant. It was accessible from SM City Iloilo, our taxi fare was for 81 pesos only. Upon entering you will be greeted by the bright light of the front desk of Wawa. It has two floors for dining, downstairs’ highlight was probably the chandeliers. Upstairs’ has several chairs made of ratan and some artwork. The vibe was rustic and it was peaceful. The food was amazing! We ordered food for family size and serving size is big. We ordered monggo, tinapa rice, tinapa, bittergourd and pancit canton. It was a feast because all of them were delicious. Monggo was definitely a two thumbs up! Bonus: you can read fun historical facts on their table covers and menu!
It's a one-of-a-kind place, that's for sure. Visit this heritage café restaurant if you want to learn Iloilo's history, eat Ilonggo food, and observe Iloilo products. Everything is well thought of, creative, and artistic. And I haven't used a single piece of plastic there at all. Plus it's budget-friendly!
