Tokyo Joe’s - Iloilo

It was delicious. I havent tried real japanese cuisine but tokyo joe surely delivered a tasty meal at my mouth. It was refreshing tasting new things. The problem we have is that the gyudon bowl my wife ordered. The japanese rice a plumpy kinda rice when i have my bowl of gyudon rice i have no problem eating eat since i sometimes forgot to chew my food properly. But my wife notices that the rice she ate when chewed at the middle part its kinda raw/hard like an uncooked rice. I tried it and she was right. We didnt bothered to change it since i already finished mine. She didn't finished her meal. And also the ramen i ordered it tasted ok not super delicious just ok. And also i was supposed to order the meal set A. But it was not available. And was forced to order seperately thus increasing the amount i should have paid. I definetly will come back again but not anytime soon, i'm kinda disappointed in tokyo joe.

With a fast and classic style Japanese food experience always put a smile on my face. Get up!

Im exicited about this restaurant or semi fast food chain restaurant during their first branch opening because this is what im looking for and what im craving for when I was in manila. There are a lot of japanese restaurant here in iloilo and this restaurant is one of my list of japanese restaurant that I want to dine since it brings me my satisfaction memories of their branch in manila. Im actually confused in terms of serving and quality between tokyo tokyo and other restaurants because it seems the price is not comparable to what I pay. And i feel there is lacking of something that I feel Im not yet satisfied of what the served or given unlike other japanese restaurants. For now, I would slighty understand that some of their dishes are not yet available. especially in their desserts which Im looking for coffee jelly or lychee jelly salad that is not available in their menu when I went to for my lunch. Their complementary dessert is bevel bar which is ok but not to what Im seeking. I hope I would come back again to this place with all of their dishes available in their menu so that I could try and taste them. So far, what Ive ordered is mt. Katsu bento and dragon maki. They are not the meals that Im looking to taste in their menu however, they are delicous and serving is well worth it to what Ive paid. By the way, they also offer unli rice which im satisfied as well.

Japanese food is ranked high among avid Ilonggo foodies. With Tokyo Tokyo at Robinsons Place Iloilo, fast casual Japanese dining experience is getting a reboot. I will be coming back for more. The store has self-service conveniences for diners.

Terrible. The rice alone is not even good Filipino rice let alone for a Japanese restaurant. The California maki is alright but the place is dirty and the staff is very ambivalent about your presence.
