Bidrage med feedbackWe did our little research on this place. the reviews of what we read and the actual experience is on the point! we even prepared so much that we didn't eat breakfast. they serve delicious food at a reasonable price. the servings are also great as the bark was good for 2 on the menu, but the actual portion was good for 3. the inner of the place is simple and modernist. we ordered the crab, bark meat and of course the famous pfan cake. you have to try the crawler, I don't know if he has to be eaten like this, but the crab was so soft that we didn't want to take her off, we ate her right away.
One of my favorite places to eat in Iloilo City is Dowa Brunch Cafe in Megaworld. They have an excellent range of options on their menu, serving almost everything! Their waffles are absolutely delectable, and the spaghetti with meatballs is really tasty. My favorite item on the menu is the hangover fries! I'm a big fan of them, and I absolutely love the sky-high goodness of those fries. The only downside to this place is that it can be a bit pricey, with dishes ranging from 200 to 500 pesos, and some are meant for sharing while others are not. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this spot!
Although it is on the pricier side, dining at Dowa is truly worth the money. The food is well-prepared and made with high-quality ingredients. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, right down to the last bite. The menu offers a variety of enticing options for different tastes, and I can’t wait to return to try more! Additionally, I really appreciated the cool and rustic ambiance of the restaurant.
Their services are good to share. tries must include the four cheese pizza, burger and fresh salads. the prices are moderately expensive, but they get their money worth.
4 of us dined in for lunch today. Place was clean and comfortably occupied not crowded, although at first only the middle table that can seat 8 was available, the others had a reserved written on it. Later, we were moved to a corner table after d occupant left. Owner Chef is a family friend but was not in when we dined. Ordered 1spinach and mushroom pizza, 2 herb-roasted chken and a Greek salad. As usual, the food did not disappoint price vis-a-vis serving size, taste, expectation, appearance); service was great prompt, waiters courteous n solicitouous). Gave some suggestions to the waiters : ice shd be in a glass bucket with tongs not in a cheap bowl with a round spoon, which although serviceable, doesn 't match the restaurant ambiance at all) ; salads should also be served with a salad tong to transfer portion size to the diner 's plate, not with an ordinary fork; the waiter obliged and provided us with a tong used for ice.
