Conviva At The Retreat - Ilminster

Friendly helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. We ate tasty soup and fish pie with a glass of House Red. Enjoyed the meal and would be happy to return. Interesting menu.

Just popped in to Retreat for a bite to eat so disappointed, Restaurant was freezing cold Asked for them to turn the heat up which they did but it make no difference, We Ordered the soup of the day and it came out luke warm. I know Wedidn’t really complain to the waiter about it being cold but did mention that it wasn’t very warm and he just said Oh I will let the kitchen we didn’t make a fuss as just wanted to get out of restaurant as was so cold in there other customers was sat with their coats on eating , But we should of known after the place being like a ice box and the coffee arriving warm Wasn’t a good start. Never again. £31.70 wasted

Lovely wine bar and restaurant, great food, friendly staff, fabulous atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Very low key from the outside. Detailed decor and cozy contemporary feel. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended
