Five Roses Pub - Illinois

I was really happy to join a large group of industry mates at Five Roses Pub last night for drinks, food, and great conversation. Unfortunately, at 10 pm, with the bar half-full and food service still in full swing, the DJ decided to crank the music from a pleasant, loud pump to a skull-throbbing scream. My table mates had to shout into each other’s ears just to understand the simplest words, ordering from the waitstaff was practically impossible, and despite numerous requests to the DJ directly … – show

Felt very Elegant and Classic Irish style Pub, love the wood work and red tapestry, they only had one Stout it was perfect for me because it was Guinness. Very friendly bartender (she was fun) free parking was a challenge is limited, but huge parking building behind. Clean restrooms.

Great bangers and mash and Smithwicks ale. Friendly staff
