The Mallard - Ilkeston

We have visited this restaurant several times and have never encountered any issues. The staff has always been amazing and professional. On one occasion, a nearby customer was very rude and claimed that the food was poorly cooked without even trying it! Despite this, the staff handled the situation with professionalism and made an effort to resolve the issue, even when the rude customer continued to disrupt the atmosphere.

I enjoyed my meal in the beer garden after having a delightful carvery. I typically avoid it because I often find the meat too dry, but this time it was incredible—I really loved it! The meat was so tender and juicy (I know everyone dislikes that word), and the staff were, as always, wonderful. Thank you!

The Mallard is a delightful place to visit, and I highly recommend it. The food is fantastic, and the portions are always generous. The prices are reasonable, and there are plenty of great options to choose from. The staff are wonderful—very friendly and welcoming. Absolutely brilliant! Keep up the great work! xx

We go every Friday with the kids for a carvery and it's always delicious, the staff are really friendly and helpful and the pub is a lovely place to eat . Wouldn't go anywhere else for my Friday carvery
