The Place Ikeja City Mall

The Rich Jollof Rice I had was very salty. As a place that deals with food, The Place should educate their staff on how to handle people’s food. From the way they hold the plate for serving, to how they bend over the show glass talking to customers as they dish out the food they’d serve their customers, there’s no consideration for the people they’re serving. Instead of lining up in queue, people stand around the display, so the staff unaware of the first customer in line plays a guessing game. The Place lacks order, and the management should work on restoring it back. Their management should think about their customers and the way they handle their food, air that they don’t serve their customers salty food again. There should be a set recipe and standard to follow. I also asked for my food to be microwaved, but it came out cold, which made me wonder what they’d done to the food in the first place. If your customer asks for their meal to be heated, microwave the food and don’t bring it out until it’s hot. Until The Place brings order to their company, my rating would be a 2 star.

Generally ok. The food is great. There's a wide variety to choose from.

The environment was very clean, organised, and sweet. The staff displayed great courtesy and the meals made THE PLACE truly THE PLACE.

One of my favorite restaurants in Lagos. Love the varieties they have most especially asun and village rice. They have good customer service but they can work on responding to customers faster or probably hire more hands during peak periods. Their new look is great with lovely ambiance. Their parking is small though, can accommodate a few vehicles.

Great place. Strategically positioned near Ikeja City Mall. This the place has the same footprint as every other playhouse across the country. Neat, clean delicious dishes and agile workforce. Although, this restaurant is very small and doesn't have enough parking space to accommodate a lot of cars, one can pack at ICM just opposite. It's a good place to consider for a eat out.
