Wok Wok - Ifs

Whilst walking the Battlefields of Normandy our hotel did`nt do evening meals and we were recommended to this restaurant, and I can see why with an extensive choose of food and a light and airy restaurant ,and excellent service. My colleague and I did`nt know that you paid a flat price for all you can eat but the first night we had medium sized meals and the manageress did`nt charge us full price.but the second night . Excellent place to relax with friends wish it was in UK.

Used this place twice during a short stay. A good but not extensive selection of well prepared food at a reasonable price starters, mains and desserts. The evening flat price was €16.80 and with a couple of drinks we paid around €25 each. The staff are friendly and it is a welcoming place with a good, quiet atmosphere.

€16.80 for dinner is not bad considering you can stuff yourself like a pig. And boy oh boy, people do. And if I am honest, the waste lines of many there suggest that they maybe shouldn't. The food is largely cold. Not sure how much is freshly prepared. But still, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Service. Well, it was quick while being friendly. God knows how many covers they do, but your in, and at the food within a few seconds. They try and shift you out ASAP (but in a nice way) to make room for more gluttons. I liked the rice pudding, but the rest was average.

This Restaurant was over the road from my hotel so I had to try it. There wasn't many dining but the food was excellent and the choice was amazing. The service from the staff was perfect and nothing was to much trouble. A bit of knowledge of French language is better but we understood each other with a bit of sign language, bit of French and a translator app on my phone. Some people may find the drinks prices a tad expensive but I wasn't worried about them and it was an excellent pint of Heineken. I will definitely try this restaurant if I'm in the area.
