Löwen Café - Idstein

The place is nice, the staff speak English and is also nice. They have a good choice of tea but the currywurst i had was soso the sausage looks industrial the sauce taste like bbq sauce. Good for tea/cofee and cake or sweet food but soso for salty meal.

The location of the cafe is great where one could sit outside , have a coffee and enjoy the beautiful old town of Idstein. But apart from that I did not find the cake ice cream coffee upto the expectations. The staffs were friendly though.

Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere and the Apfelstrüdel was delicious. A toast or baguettes would be nice for afternoon snacks as alternative to something sweet.

Never had such a bad and rude service before. The tall blonde waiter serving on the terrace was completely ignoring us from the beginning when asking which table we could sit at. He purposely avoided taking our order, asking everyone else around us and ignoring our calls, so that even the guests on the tables next to us were shaking their heads. Only when we asked to speak to the responsible he came pretending he was the owner and became so endlessly rude that we decided to take off. Unbelievable that in such difficult times for catering business you find such an unprofessional, shamless, arrogant service. It's a pity since we had always good memories of this place from back in the 90's. We will never go back again.

The staff is arrogant and rude ..not customer friendly…would not recommend this place
