Bidrage med feedbackA trip into Hyeres and I was asked where I wanted to lunch. Since it was going to be my last meal out before returning home I immediately said Au Fil de l'eau. A greeting from the owner and staff with beaming smiles set the...scene for a delicious lunch. It was the first time I had been at lunchtime and the atmosphere was very relaxed. A glass of champagne followed by a shared starter of foie gras and then a perfectly cooked fish with turned potatoes and carrot left us no room for dessert. We left very happy.
Excellent food fresh local ingredients in a beautiful environment in a quiet corner of the hyeres old town. friendly and competent staff.
Surprised to read negative reviews from others. we found eating absolutely excellent, although a touch price. the setting was lovely and the service ok. the theft seemed to pay a little too much attention to a table that was obviously known to her. will have been going back
We reserved a table for 6 in this restaurant by la fourchette (booking service,) as promoted on the website of restaurants Facebook page, and received an email confirmation. at the arrival said the owner, we had no reservation and there was no table available that they would have been. away, so our booking could not take we said that it was done by la fourchette she threw her hands up and said she had nothing to do with them....no excuse not sorry her evening will be ruined she said coming over the courtyard to my friend, they will not be disappointed! obviously this often happens by phone to book at au fil de l’eau! we were introduced into le moulin a chapelle, where we have eaten very well.
