Joybird - HYDE PARK

Good dining experience overall, very much a cafe feel.

From the outside it seemed like any other restaurant but it was completely different when you walk through the entrance. It was inviting and have such a beautiful open space which you are greeted by a staff at the front counter. We loved the open kitchen concept where you can sit at the bar to see the chefs work their magic. The twist of the old-style booth siting spiced with modern simplicity had my children's approval as they comfy and spacious! As we explored, there were more seatings at the back with a full bar service. We really enjoyed the charcoal chicken, hot chips, pork katsu sando and slaw. We will be coming back for more for sure :

Has potential to be brilliant, just too hot with the open kitchen to be enjoyable. Quality of food good, however for the price would expect more attentive service and better quality crockery, cutlery and atmosphere.

Service and atmosphere were great. Very underwhelmed by the over priced food, the meals came out lukewarm, on the verge of cold, maybe we just got unlucky with the kitchen staff that day.

We took our grandson out for an evening meal. Plenty of options on menu for him and us. Waitress and service was outstanding.
