Hyams Beach Store & Cafe

The cooked goose cafe is an incarnation of the traditional hyams beach general store/cafe that has changed the hands several times over the decades. similar layout and design features, but obviously new employees, menu and service. the place needs a good clean and repaint but....We visited just after 2pm understanding it closes by 3pm, but deliberately the kitchen closes at 2:30 o'clock. the service was especially attentive and the orders were taken over quickly. I asked the Mediterranean lambburger, who is a local favorite and probably the signature offer for decades, but was told to the new owners that they were removed from the menu. typical cafe food instead and nothing exciting on the menu. I decided for the meatburger and chips for about $18. there was little to no waiting time for our food. I was disappointed by the burgers, about processed ingredients like American style cheese and its size was something to rival mcdonald 's. however the chips were plentiful and well cooked. I will leave this for the tourist, nothing too exciting to come back.

Excellent eier benny and walnut bread with top coffee. friendly service. good meal size. location and venue are well oriented. the name has changed into boiled geese.

Make them a very good coffee, use them with ot takeout and dine in, had breakfast a. purple of the morning so far, the granola bowl is excellent, large granola, berry, bananenhonig, . very busy, happy and friendly staff, a really nice place to start the day

The breakfast was excellent, with standard expectations due to the competition. this is rare in the region of Australia. excellent eggs, and great coffee.

After walking from Vincentia our group had a great breakfast at this hidden gem. The meals were excellent with very quick service
