Hippo Café - Hutto

Nothing special about this place or the food. The service was just okay. The ambiance was just okay.

I love this place, affordable, great food, I cannot explain how awesome this place can be. Customer service is terrible. I placed a to go order and received only 3/5 items I had ordered. I call back to see how they can help me and they proceed to tell me they can't do anything since I left the building with the order and that breakfast is over. I understand I could've checked the bag but it was wrapped up and I had trusted them. The manager didn't even talk to me on the phone, she talked through an employee. Overall frustrated that they couldn't do anything whatsoever? Customer service that can't work with you over something on their end is terrible.

This was once my go to but after calling in and placing an order and it being wrong, customer was accused of being wrong instead of Hippo Cafe taking responsibility and not collecting info needed. After all the naysayers are bashing this business I was always pulling for them. Now not too sure.

Food always fresh, and really enjoy all the murals! the music is great. reminds me of home. service was spot on and she was so funny! will definitely come back to try some dessert
