Island Teriyaki - Hurricane

I attended a wedding reception today, and I must say that I really enjoyed the food and presentation of Iceland Teriyaki. A few things confused this old Essensmann, but were quickly explained by the friendly staff. Folks, the Yum Yum Balls, Udon Noodles and Chicken Teriyaki are all incredibly big. No BS here. Only excellent food and excellent service. Wow, I am impressed and I am a real person, not someone who is paid to write good reviews!! I can easily be found on Facebook. I saw on Facebook that her food truck would be close to me today, so by my lunch. At the first dinner there and on a friend recommendation I tried the Yam-Yum balls. I never had anything like them and they had to die. I can't wait for the next time I'm in Hurricane.

Wow! The food is incredible here. On the recommendation of the owner Sean I had the pig belly with brown rice and macaroni salad and it was not disappointed! The sauce he recommended was slightly spicy and sweet, which was perfect with the brown rice. The Makkaroni salad is not the version you get from the Deli in your local supermarket - but a creamy and tangy version with a hint of acid cream, maybe? I loved every bite! And the sweet tea mud was also ah-mazing: I just wish you were closer to Louisville, so I could make it a regular stop.

Got the pork belly it was awesome melted in your mouth. Also had all three yum yum balls they rocked you will love this place.

Great food. The chicken with spicy sauce is the bomb and I love the veggies, udon, yum yum balls, and pretty much everything else I’ve had there. The new mustard sauce is super good, too. Also, addicting isn’t a word...just sayin’.
