Bidrage med feedbackI recently moved here from Idaho, and I have to say the food was incredible! It was my first time dining here, and I ordered through DoorDash. Everything was delicious. I got pizza and breadsticks because I'd heard so much praise for the breadsticks, and they did not disappoint—they were phenomenal! Thank you so much for a great experience!
The food here is fantastic, but be prepared to take home some leftovers because the portions are enormous! I ordered the Italia, which included lasagna, chicken Parmesan, and Alfredo—each dish was substantial enough for a full meal. I could probably stretch it to five meals! They also have a great selection of draft beers, and the service was excellent. Everything we tried was delicious, and those breadsticks are incredibly tempting—they're just too good!
My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time and, overall, we had a pleasant experience. First of all, the service and staff were fantastic! We started with the breadsticks appetizer, which were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the French onion soup, and it was outstanding. I chose the balsamic glazed salmon for my entree, and while it was okay, it was a bit lukewarm and lacked a bit of flavor. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi, which came with a generous amount of shrimp. The noodles had a nice taste but were slightly dry. Despite these minor issues, the meal was still decent, and we are open to returning to try other dishes. It wasn't perfect, but we had a nice time overall.
The staff were great. Breadsticks and salad were great. Only complaint is that the pasta dishes were just huge!!! My eggplant parm was good, but sauce overwhelmed the eggplant so it was not crispy. Maybe focus a bit more in detail and serve smaller portions.
You're just not going to find good Italian food in Huntsville. The Boot is probably the best option. If you like salt, that seems to be the main ingredient. Not sure why bread plates were brought to our table as no bread ever showed up. It was a borderline okay-ish experience, but you can get that level from fast food and pay a lot less. The ambiance was about the best part of the meal. I would wager that based on the number of people in the restaurant (about 6 total, not including us) during peak lunch hours that this place has a long, uphill battle ahead, followed by a padlock on the door in a month or two.
