No.1 Chinese Food - Huntington Beach

People in HB dont know what good Chinese is. Number 1 is a big number 2 for me. Been several times. Its not even close to good. The great wok is about 1 mile away if you want decent Chinese. Avoid number 1..dont pay attention to the reviews just look at the photos..its like a panda express.

Local Chinese food buffet. Food was fresh, price was right, friendly staff and location was cleaner than most similar type restaurants.

These guys bought the business from previous owner, Lucky Wok. They've maintained the same menu items, but the quality of their food/product has declined, which is sad. A business such as this should realized that a small additional investment in buying higher quality product will reap huge rewards in customer loyalty. The previous owners used higher quality ingredients. For example, No.1 uses pork shoulder for their BBQ pork, whereas the previous owner used leaner loin of pork. So, I will gently suggest you raise your prices to offset the added cost for better quality ingredients. I won't complain, and I'll eat at No.1 more often!

I love this place! I probably come here 3-4 times a month. The portions are always good and they always have a fresh selection of food. The cook to order menu is delicious too. Everything is always clean and the owners are so friendly and kind. This is one of my favorite neighborhood places and the only Chinese food I get for take out!

The hole in the wall places have the best food. This place is amazing.
