Bidrage med feedbackAmazing experience. Sara was a great server. Very attentive, and proactive in terms of ensuring our experience was great! Milk rolls and Caldo for the table were great. The NY strip was “Vietnamese style”, and it was delicious. Spicy and sweet, with great complimentary components. Others loved their salmon dish, and the rib eye (not bone-in). The paella for two was a healthy portion for each; featured delicious rice and seafood and tasty crispy chicken likely cooked separately and then add in to the dish. Parking in the underground mall lot is easy and just east of PCH; with restaurant validation it is complimentary. Very dog friendly, outdoor dining available; staff not masked currently. Looking forward to our next trip there! Chef owned spot has a dynamic menu that changes frequently!
This restaurant I have been here a few times for happy hour but last night New Year’s Eve was the first time for an actual sit down dinner with my wife. I didn’t imagine Blue Gold would at all be a disappointment, and it wasn’t for one moment, the staff, the bartenders, drinks , entires , atmosphere is amazing. The ambiance is sexy yet classy, the staff is wonderful and the cocktails they come up with along with classic ones are fantastic and presentation is on point. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to go back, I’m half torn if would I order the same thing or try something new? The salmon was delicious not dry and full of flavor with the squash purée , the Indian spiced short ribs literally fell off the bone with a fork they were so tender and full of spices. The famous milk rolls they’re known for I felt I could just eat those for hours the carbs though . The clam chowder was as legitimate as one would expect from a classic restaurant in the heart of Boston. Crab toast yummy, and you get a very nice portion of crab. All in all this place is great for family get together, date night, happy hour. You cannot go wrong! Will be coming back again very soon
The milk rolls are a must. The pizzas were good as well. Service was nice but not attentive and dropped the ball on stuff (I.e. not getting us proper set up. Forgetting water for people, forgetting drinks, not re-checking on us). Maybe it was an off day for the service. But I would suggest going here. Maybe mid week when they have time and effort.
I have so much to say about this place! To be honest, the hostess who greeted us wasn't very pleasant—she even yawned while checking in other guests. She seemed annoyed when we asked for assistance. But after that, everything was incredible! Our servers, Rachel and Lindsey, were fantastic. Rachel provided excellent drink suggestions and guided us through the menu. She was incredibly attentive to our needs! The lobster was the best we've ever tasted, and the oysters were both salty and delicious. The view was absolutely stunning! This restaurant definitely deserves 5 stars! They also appear to be very supportive of the LGBTQA community, which is a big plus for us. It was the perfect date night!
I enjoyed an early dinner with a friend on Sunday afternoon. I ordered a Lulu Lemonade, Lamb Chop Frites, and we shared a carnage pizza. My friend opted for a soft drink. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Our total bill came to $105, including tax and tip. We also received two hours of validated parking in the Pacific City Garage.
