Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant didn't seem to want us there and rushed us out, even though it was only 9 o'clock and the place was empty. We were eventually asked to leave because the owner wanted to close up. When we got home at 10 o'clock, we realized the landlady seemed a bit unkempt and wore stained clothing, leading us to believe she was also the cook. Despite the experience, we will take it as a lesson learned.
During our stay in the village, we decided to dine at a local pub we stumbled upon. Despite not making a reservation, the employees and owners kindly accommodated us without any issues. I must say, it was the friendliest pub I have visited in a long time. We chatted with the owner and staff as if we had known them for years. The food we ordered surpassed our expectations - it was on a different level for pub cuisine. I even sent compliments to the chef through one of the employees, and to my surprise, the chef, Sarah, came out to talk to us. What a talented chef she is. To sum it up, when in the area, I highly recommend visiting The Druid Inn. I will definitely be returning. - Gaz and Vik.
So first time visit us, friends. during the week and the pub itself was very quiet around 6.30, which fit us openly, as most people were sitting outside and who left us many social distances in the inner. also on Kovid regulations that are very soothing. we had dinner with the mushroom risotto especially welcomed, although the burger and the tomaten ragu also went a tasty bite. but they were desserts that really did the evening. absolutely delicious sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fond with the largest part of the chantilly cream I have ever seen in my life on the side. to die. the personal was really nice and the renter was particularly welcoming. a really beautiful jewel on the land, if I had lived here, I would have been there every weekend.
The staff is so friendly and helpful, nothing too much annoyed. eating is amazing and presents very good a must visit, but please respect their values as the continue wearing masks
So …. We went into this lovely looking Pub Restaurant for something to eat after reading good reviews . Unfortunately they weren’t serving food due to a problem in the kitchen . The lovely landlady her name escapes me , refused to...see us go hungry and insisted that she would ring around only places she would frequent herself and try to get us a table ! After ringing a couple she not only found us somewhere but booked us in too .. And it was great !! The landlady at The Druid Inn really did go the extra mile for a couple of strangers , and we appreciated it very much ! We will be going back to her eatery very soon and hope to see her again and enjoy a good meal !
