Spring Creek Barbeque - Humble

The food was mediocre. I used to eat here weekly for years, but now I find it hard to justify. $20 for a Chopped Beef Sandwich, macaroni, and a drink? Seriously? When I walked in, the man near the entrance just glanced at me and turned away. The person taking orders, who was handling the sides, saw it happen and took his time before coming over to help, but at least he was friendly. I understand that prices have gone up, but you can still find excellent food and drinks at nicer restaurants for less than $20 per plate. The service is usually better there, too.

My husband and I have been dining here for years and still enjoy the food. However, during our latest visit, we were disappointed by the higher prices, which we anticipated, but we were unexpectedly overcharged by nearly $9! We were billed for two drinks when I specifically requested water. When I asked about the brisket sandwich, I was told it came with two sides, but we were charged an additional $2.95 for each side I chose. In total, we spent $46.90, which I feel is excessive. I ordered the Chopped Beef Baker, and it was just average. The bottom of the potato was burnt, so I had to remove that part, and it definitely could have used more meat. However, the rolls were fantastic!

We have eaten here for years and the food has always been excellent. Not tonight, something has changed and not just the insane price increase and definitely not for the best..Chopped beef was more like chunk fatty beef , the sauce was sweet and not theirusual. The sliced beef was incredibly fatty, even when ordering lean cut. The baby back ribs were dry and not the fall off thebone as they used to be. Even the southwestern salad was subpar. Very disappointed in everything. This was our go to for BBQ.Guess we're on the hunt for a new spot :

Kieryn and Valeria are the most kind and professional girls! Came in to get a to go order and everything was perfect. I was met with big smiles and it was a great experience! And as always, the food was amazing!
