Heiseiya - Hull

We absolutely loved the sushi and gyozas! I’ll be returning for them! The fried noodles were enjoyable but nothing special! We also liked the vegetarian selection! Will deffo go back!

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, with generous portions and affordable prices. I am a regular customer of their takeaway service and have never experienced any issues.

Been one of my favourites in Hull for ages. Service is always great and the food is amazing. Sushi is rustic in style and the variety is great. Shichimi Chicken is great as well as the Katsu Curry.

I don't particularly like leaving a bad review, but I'm sorry this was just horrible stewed slop. The closest this food came to anything Japanese is probably the microwave it was nuked in. The Chicken karaage was soggy and tasteless, the ribs just a horrible wet mush and noodles a child could have prepared to a better standard.... Just NO.

We placed our food order at 7pm, but when we called at around 8:45pm to check on the status, we were informed to "wait another 30 or 40 minutes." The service was terrible, and the person on the phone seemed indifferent, almost as if they were trying to discourage us from waiting any longer. We ended up canceling our order and instead ordered from Sumo Japanese takeaway nearby, which was both delicious and arrived in just thirty minutes.
