Country Fork - Hughesville

First time here. I had thy sausage gravy over biscuits and home fries. Very good! Gravy had a great taste, was not too thick or thin. Made very well! Potatoes had a nice crisp on them. Decor was very charming. Mismatched chairs at the table have it a homey feel. Service was good, girls were busy. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Would definitely go back!

We had a big group for lunch and the service was excellent. It didn't seem like anyone had to wait very long. I ordered a cheesesteak that was so packed, I could barely lift it. I also noticed that the hamburgers were huge, with the patty being bigger than the bun.

Ordered a breakfast platter omelet was okay, potatoes were okay, and the toast was toast. Son ordered an enormous cheeseburger must've been a pound of meat. It was cooked properly and served on appropriate bread huge bun! He also ordered fries and they were what all fries are. The service was polite (not friendly, but certainly polite) and quick. The atmosphere is...........really dark. It's dark and dated and could be SO much more inviting with brighter walls and better placed country decor. Also do something about the placement of tables near the bathroom. Put a service station or something near there so people going in and out of the bathroom aren't encroaching on people who are sitting at the tables that look directly into the toilet facility.

We stopped in for breakfast after shopping. Very nice waitresses. Food was top-notch. Didn't have to wait for refills on drinks. Plenty of seating. The only downside i can mention is parking, but I'd park a ways away and walk .
