What's The Scoop - Hudsonville

This ice cream shop is pretty average, with mostly high school girls working there who aren't very friendly. The best part for us is that it's only a short bike ride from our house.

We absolutely adore this place! The food is fantastic, especially the ice cream, but what really stands out is the friendly and welcoming staff. Even when there are long lines, they move quickly! We’re so glad this gem is right in our neighborhood!

Upon entering, you are welcomed by the delightful aroma of freshly made waffle cones and exceptional customer service. Two teenage girls were working there, both of whom greeted us with smiles and offered assistance in case we had any questions while we browsed the menu. I ordered the Brownie Sundae, which featured standard vanilla soft serve topped with hot fudge brownie pieces. What set this sundae apart from the rest was its impressive layering; each bite was filled with rich chocolate and brownie goodness. I was highly impressed, even though it was a bit too sweet for my taste. Nonetheless, I would definitely return if I'm in the area again.

Celiac Foodie: The ice cream here is excellent! The atmosphere is lively and bustling, particularly in the evenings. I enjoyed the Blue Raspberry Slushy—it was sweet and delicious! The Vanilla Chocolate Twist and the Hot Fudge Sundae were also prepared quickly and tasted amazing. The seating has a café-style arrangement, with both booths and outdoor seating available. They are open until 10 PM, but be sure to check their Facebook page for any updates (there’s a sign on the door). I experienced no illness after eating the food. Happy dining!

Windmill cookie butter is a must-try! It's my all-time favorite flavor. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. Don't miss out!
