Bidrage med feedbackThis ice cream shop is adorable! The atmosphere is great! We tried the bourbon vanilla and the chocolate covered cherry flavors and they were delicious! The baklava flavor is also tasty! It has a nutty taste with the perfect hint of cinnamon and it's seasonal! The bourbon vanilla was perfectly made, with just a hint of bourbon at the end and a smooth texture! Although it's a bit pricey, it's definitely worth it.
My friend and I finally decided to visit this restaurant after hearing so much about it over the years. I tried the highly recommended vanilla bourbon ice cream, and it lived up to all the hype. The vanilla bean flavor was authentic with a smooth finish, and the hint of bourbon was subtle. I also ordered a medium hot chocolate with whipped cream on top, which was made with real whipped cream. While it was a fun addition, it was quite heavy, so I ended up mixing it into the hot chocolate. The hot chocolate itself was amazing, rivaling one I had at a famous café on Park Avenue in Boston. My friend opted for the vegan peanut butter ice cream and enjoyed it so much that she was surprisingly quiet throughout the meal – she's usually quite talkative. We both agreed that we will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
I have never had a bad ice cream at this restaurant. My top picks include the Lemon Poppyseed, Key Lime, and Baklava flavors. I suggest getting the waffle cone, just be sure to grab some napkins too. While it is more expensive than typical ice cream, we find it worth it since we only go every few weeks.
Ice cream top notch ..favorite is tres fricken leches!!!!! Get it but don't get it every day. Rated a 3 star cus for three scoops $21 that's expensive. Guy who made this place please think of the poor. Give us tres leches for $5 a scoop?
Our family came here based on the reviews and we all agreed we 'd NEVER come back here again. Why? 1. The ice cream tasted pretty decent, but not out of this world. I 've had better. 2. The sizes are so tiny, even tinier than the other hoity-toity or bougie places around Boston. They actually WEIGH the ice cream, counting the exact ounces they scoop into a tiny cup. 3. My wife and son both got 1 scoop which was a crazy $6, but the person gave my son a kiddie size, which was even tinier than the 1 scoop (it was probably 3 tablespoons of ice cream), and when we pointed out the obvious difference in size, she started by defending the place saying the smaller scoop was denser . To her credit, after a tense 15 seconds, she weighed the smaller one and admitted it was undersized. 4. At the checkout, the cashier asked us for the name of each flavor we got and entered it into the terminal. Ridiculously tedious when they have a long line of people waiting. We left the place with an awful experience. I know it wasn 't the ice cream scooper 's fault, it 's probably the owner for micromanaging the staff and not allowing them to just make customers happy. MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS COMMENT: That 's just corporate speak for being stingy. If you really want your employees to be so exact, then you should have an actual display of how much ice cream you get in a given size. If I had seen that size I would have left the place immediately. It feels worse to feel like you 're going to get a heaping scoop and then you get a scoop that doesn 't even fill the cup.
