Santa Rosa Pasteleria - Huaraz

I made it a ritual after trekking around Huaraz to come to Santa Rosa for a slice of their decadent chocolate cake. They are a couple blocks away from Plaza de Armas but we'll worth the walk. I tried an assortment of their cakes but the chocolate with chocolate frosting and chocolate pieces on top was always rich and moist. Everything you could want in a cake. There are usually two variations of the chocolate cake available. Make sure you get the one with the pieces on top. Great ice cream just down the street too for a perfect dessert combo in Huaraz.
