I dropped by for lunch and happy hour later in the week. Both were wonderful dining experiences. The restaurant wasn't what I expected. It isn't simple counter service. It's sort of casual chic. Aside the dining area, there's a small bar, a private room for luncheons, and an outdoor patio. The outdoor patio is adjacent to a side street and doesn't get direct noise from Memorial. Service and food was exceptionally good. I've only tried the pizzas but probably will make it through the entire menu over the next few months . The happy hour features wine and beer and a small food selection. Definitely worth a visit.

This is an amazing, hidden gym!! The food is by far five stars or more and the service is even better. The owner, whose name is Chico is always present behind the counter, taking care of his customers. We love coming here for breakfast, but don't sleep on lunch because they have some pretty amazing dishes. My wife and I love this little corner, bakery/restaurant.

I just changed my review to a three star from a one star. The owner responded quickly and I appreciate his perspective. However, he did tell me that what I said did not happen. I will try again because the family enjoys this establishment and eating breakfast at the breakfast bar. Our daughter got back from college and we took her out for breakfast. Unfortunately, the fussy guy (manager/owner) would not let us sit at the breakfast bar. We just sat at the breakfast bar last month with her and she is over 18 with her parents at 1030 am. When I told him we sat with him last month he called me a liar. Life is too short for people like this so we left. We went to the toasted yoak and had great food and a great time without being hassled.
