An amazing dining experience. Small area, but lively. Great attention to detail by the servers. The food was good, I've had equal or better meals, but never have I experienced service like this. Attentive, but not annoying', not hovering. It is not stuffy, not uptight. I didnt worry about using the wrong utensil and fear a look. The music and piano were great; our timing was perfect so we could enjoy our dessert and the musician simultaneously. He started at 9:30pm on the Saturday evening we went.

It’s difficult to find the door to begin. Second I had made a reservation and I had to stand in the walkway between the bar and the restroom until my table became available. After being sat down the staff only gave us a drink menu had us order and left. I had to track down another waiter for a entree menu. 20 minutes go by and no one had acknowledged that we still have not ordered. I had to track down another waiter to submit an order. 40 minutes later our food arrived. Ofcourse after we mentioned to the staff that we still have not received our food. Tables around us were having the same issues. This restaurant is one you go to if you just want to kill time and loose your appetite after the lengthy time of no service.

Probably the most attractive room in town with fine piano in background. Service is professional and personal. Torchon was perfect and other dishes were tasty but overly “chefed”, complex and heavy. I would tell the chef to stick with classic techniques and dishes, reel in the creativity and lighten up.

I loved it. We went for our anniversary. They made it a wonderful experience. Michael, the owner, was very personable. The pianist played a request to make the night better, and Juan our server was excellent. The food was top notch and reasonably priced.

One of my absolute favorite places to dine in Houston! As you walk in the door, you know you’re in for a wonderful evening. The atmosphere is amazing, and the service is top notch. Everything from the bartender, the server, the management never disappoints. This is one of my favorite places to dine, bring friends, and out of town guests. An absolutely wonderful dining experience every time.
