The Lexington Grill - Houston

I was in Houston on a business trip and was looking for a good place to eat. So glad I found this restaurant.First impression was very positive with extremely friendly greetings from all the staff we passed. Our waiter was also very personable and explained the different options and specials.The food was fantastic. I got the beef tenderloin with brandy mushroom sauce and peppercorn sauce (there were a number of different options offered in terms of how the meat should be cooked, as well as multiple options for sauce). The waiter offered to bring me both sauces on the side so I could try them both and see which I liked more.The meat was extremely tender and an even medium as ordered and the sauces were delicious. The sides were tasty although I could have done with just a little more.The only thing I would recommend is getting some updated prices online. The prices for the entrees are all about $20 cheaper online than actually on the menu, which was a little bit of a surprise. But all in all a great experience and very satisfying meal.

My favorites place to dine in Houston with perfect cocktails , delicious food and impeccable service. The restaurant is set in a tiny, romantic home where you can actually hold a conversation. Have never had a bad experience.

We were attending an event at Lakewood church and wanted to find a place for a nice dinner before hand. The Lexington checked all the boxes, quaint, neighborhood, unpretentious yet elegant. The snapper Evangeline was suggested and I’m glad I listened. My husband was equally pleased with his filet.

ALWAYS the best experience at Lexington. Food, service, personal/individual attention results in a wonderful experience. This is the greatest place for a truly quiet, relaxing evening with superb food and service.
