The Hot Dog Shop - Houston

If you're in search of a great Chicago-style hot dog, this place is definitely worth a visit! They offer all-beef Vienna hot dogs with four free toppings to choose from, including chili. They also have a variety of sandwiches and serve breakfast! There's one outdoor picnic-style table, and there's a bar with a pool room connected to the restaurant if that's the kind of atmosphere you enjoy. You’ll find plenty of sodas and ice water to drink. I had my hot dog made true Chicago-style with the toppings I selected, and it was delicious!

The Chicken Fried Steak is completely inedible. I'm not even convinced it's actually steak. It seems like it came straight from a frozen food aisle. Disappointing!

I absolutely love the food here! I haven't had a single disappointing dish yet. You can order takeout, but if you choose to dine in, please note that smoking is allowed. If you're sensitive to cigarette smoke, you might want to consider getting your meal to go instead.
