Sushi Miyagi - Houston

This is a truly authentic sushi restaurant run by a lovely elderly Japanese couple, who are both professional and polite. While it is a bit on the expensive side, the freshness and portion sizes are unparalleled compared to other sushi spots in Houston. After four years away, we’ve moved back to Houston, and this remains our favorite sushi place! You can’t go wrong with the shaggy dog maki!

Amazing sushi at an excellent price. The fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The karaage is also outstanding. There can be a wait to get a table, but if you have the opportunity to go, you should definitely take it!

The atmosphere is truly cozy, making it an excellent spot to catch up with friends. You might need to be patient with the wait time, but it's definitely worth it for the high-quality sushi you'll enjoy. This place perfectly embodies the charm of a mom-and-pop restaurant. I absolutely love it!

Very nice, we go here early like other reviews recommend. We ordered a bit more since we wanted to try a lot of things. Overall very satisfied with everything even though there was a very large party in front of us. (lucky us we made the cut off!
