Slowpokes - Houston

Popped in for Saturday morning coffee and had a very nice experience! The interior is very cozy and charming and a perfect place to sit and chat for a while. I got the honey cinnamon latte with oat milk, which I liked to see as one of her specialties on the menu, as this is my order. I must say it is definitely one of the best and best made that I ever had! I had the ham and Brie Croissant and man had served the bacon/egg/cheese biscuit with a spicy jam. Both were delicious and came out quickly. Lovely sitting in the cozy stands and cannot wait to visit again! We got in, but it seems that there is also a walking window along the side of the building to go commands. They also had a nice selection of fresh pastries that I look forward to next time.

I bought a hot chocolate that not only looked delicious, but also beautiful! This is by far the most beautiful hot chocolate I've ever bought. I love her parking lot.

Updated Review I gave Slowpokes another chance after having a mediocre experience yesterday. To be clear, I didn't say anything about my previous experience. My latte was delicious and steamy this morning. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was hot and also delicious (I recommend the sandwich above the avocado toast). The staff was as always friendly and I think the experience of yesterday was a way out. I'd definitely come back next time. Visit from the city and kept on the basis of the high reviews. I ordered a latte and avocado toast to go. The latte was made fresh, but for some reason it was hardly warm. I'm afraid my avocado toast was old because it was cold and soggy. Unfortunately, I was gone before I realized the condition of the toast. I spent $18 on the two articles and both were subpar. The staff was very nice and the facility was clean, but quality wasn't there.

Very friendly staff. at some of hipster ish places the staff can be stand off ish and unfriendly. but, not here. friendly and engaging. slowpoke is an apt name don’t be in a hurry. but, not complaining. food was good quality and tasty. will definitely be back.

Come in when you have time to kill. This coffee shop really takes things easy. It’s a wonderful change of pace from the normally fast paced world. Would recommend this place if you have an hour or two to wind down.
