NOE GRILL at the Omni Houston Hotel

I recently won a staycation package and decided to try out the restaurant that was included. It was truly amazing. We opted for the menu that gives back to the Houston Food Bank, where we each selected an appetizer, main course, and dessert. We made sure to order different dishes so we could share. For the first course, we tried the steamed mussels and heirloom tomato salad. I wasn't a fan of the mussels, but the sauce they were cooked in was fantastic. The tomato salad, on the other hand, was delicious. My boyfriend really enjoyed the mussels with wasabi. For the second course, I had the salmon with crab fried rice, which was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the chicken with asparagus and wasabi mashed potatoes, and it was equally as tasty. For dessert, we indulged in the olive oil cake and sorbet. The cake was divine, especially when paired with whipped cream, berries, and a nut crunch. The sorbet featured lemon, raspberry, and mango flavors. While the mango was a bit too sweet for me, I loved the lemon and raspberry. I can't wait to go back and try more items from the menu. The restaurant's bar next door is also fantastic. We relaxed, watched the Texans game, and enjoyed some amazing jalapeño margaritas.

My husband and I went here when they had the old Menu. More options...I ordered the fried green tomatoes and it was ok...I could Have paid half the price for a much better version of this dish. It was ok...not as great as it used to be

Low key night. Not very busy while we were there. Isaac was our waiter...great service. They use local farrm-to-table food, which is always a plus to me. I had the beef tenderloin and my wife had the salmon...both were great. Truffle fries are not on the menu, but rather the cocktail menu. We ordered them as an appetizer...you have to get them!!

My wife doesn't eat pork normally, but she loves the pork chop here. I had the salmon and it was incredible. Rigontoni was great as an appetizer and our red velvet cake for desert was awesome.

Everything was wonderful.......Probably the best mashed potatoes Ive ever eaten !!!!!
