Masala Wok - Houston

This is one of the top spots for Indian-Chinese cuisine in Houston. I would love to see more locations open up!

It was strange that we couldn't use our rewards. We were able to check in, but the staff member was tapping the screen at the same time, and it somehow went through. I suppose it's fine, as we weren't able to leave a tip either. The experience has changed over the years; people used to be much friendlier. At least the benches have been reupholstered!

Masala Wok is a wonderful spot for Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine. My child absolutely enjoys the food. However, for my Indian tastes, I find the paneer naan rolls to be a bit bland. I really hope they introduce a spicier option. The Hakka noodles with paneer are fantastic, much like most of their other dishes. As for vegetarian options, they can prepare noodles, naan wraps, and almost everything else with paneer.

This is more of a mid-tier fast food restaurant. Much better than McDonalds but you can do much better for $15 at lunch.
