Hugh O'connors Marqe - Houston

Hugh pours the best Guinness in Houston, and it’s also a fantastic place to watch sports, especially football. They are the official home of the Liverpool Supporters Club in Houston and open for every Liverpool game. I visited last night for steak night, and the ribeye was outstanding. I highly recommend it. The food and drinks are excellent, and the staff is wonderful.

A few colleagues and I were visiting from out of state, and we were on the lookout for a place to watch the Champions League soccer match while cheering for Liverpool. We found the perfect spot – a Liverpool fan hangout! They opened early for the game, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. We savored some delicious scrambled eggs and really cold beer. The young lady tending the bar was amazing; she managed the whole place and always made sure we had cold beers in our hands. She was fantastic! I definitely hope to return to this venue in the future.

Not bad! I visited with a friend during happy hour. I had the cod tacos, and my friend ordered the veggie burger. Both dishes were tasty! The burger was a bit overstuffed, but it wasn't a major issue. The happy hour selection was decent, though I wish there were more food options available. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Came for a Liverpool game. the staff behind the bar was super and good atmosphere. waiting the staff was absolutely annoying and rude. obviously had a pretty bad understanding of what the Liverpool support brings into its cash. permanent order of avocado toast disabled definitiw any type of service.

I went on a Saturday night. There was a big name playing at the improv nearby so it was very chill and not packed at all. I had a legit Irish bartender who I can only assume has a stake in the business, but he definitely lends authenticity to it being an Irish pub. He was also responsible. He personally had to cut off a guy who was drunk and had his friend help him leave the bar. He was very knowledgeable and I have every intention of returning with friends to talk whiskey and bourbon and expand our palate.
