Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Houston

This place is overpriced for the small portions they serve. If you're looking for good barbecue in Houston, I recommend going to Ray's BBQ instead of Dickies.

The service and food here are consistently excellent. Be sure to try the roasted okra; it's a must!

The grill was disappointing. It had a texture and flavor reminiscent of microwave cooking. The beans seemed like they were simply dumped straight from a can. I wouldn't consider dining there again.

I just feel for the price of a 3 meat plate, they should give you more than 2 ribs...the potato salad was not to my liking and just because you choose ribs as your meat, you still have to pay a dollar extra plus the menu price. Not a good way to do business....
