Cooking Girl - Houston

Ordered the mapo tofu and green/white soup, both were great and big portions. Very reasonable prices. Forgot to take pics at the restaurant, so attached are pics of my leftovers. I plan on coming back :

I've always enjoyed Cooking Girl and frequently ordered takeout from there. However, during my last visit, I ordered the beef and was disappointed to find that I received only half the portion I usually get, as you can see in the picture.

I brought a friend visiting from out of town to this restaurant, and she's incredibly jealous that we have such an authentic Sichuan spot nearby. The restaurant is very clean, and I enjoy visiting frequently whenever I'm in the area.

Ordered orange chicken and shrimp fried rice. Both were good and flavorful but paid about $35.00. Chinese food used to be cheap, not any more.

Walked in , did not eat because the service was bad. My plate and menu were throw at me . The menu was on top of the plate which is touching the tips of my chopsticks . God knows how many hands touched that menu and how dirty it is. When I mentioned it to the host she just glared at me without even saying sorry . Not going and not recommend anyone to go there neither .
