Bidrage med feedbackWe waited a long time while other tables, which arrived and ordered after us, received their meals. Their dishes looked fantastic. When our food finally arrived, all the shrimp was burnt and dried out. Additionally, they didn’t clean the shrimp properly, leaving the digestive tract intact, which meant we were eating deep-fried shrimp with remnants of waste. I get that it’s a seafood restaurant, but the smell in this place is intolerable and quite off-putting—it's a mix of seawater and foul sewage. I would not recommend wasting your money here.
#JoeFoodTour If you're in Houston, don't miss Connie's, a local favorite! I absolutely love their deluxe seafood soup, which is loaded with potatoes, carrots, oysters, shrimp, and fish. It's incredibly delicious! Be sure to arrive for an early or late lunch, as the place tends to get very busy. #HowdyFromHouston #ThePropertyJoes #LivingLifeInHouston
We hadn't been to Connie's in about 10 years, and I must say, it was fantastic! The staff was just as polite as I remembered, and even though the place was bustling as usual, we were seated promptly. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We even ordered some to go before leaving. Yes, we will definitely be back! We absolutely love Connie's!
My husband likes their fried fish plate. I order a large pork fried rice to go. It's huge. Enough for five meals for $10.00! We only go for take out, but we go often.
We waited while other tables that came after us and ordered after us got their food. Their food looked delicious. Our food came out, all the shrimp was burned and dried. Also, they do not clean out the feces tract from the shrimp, so we're eating deep fried shrimp feces with the shrimp. I understand that it's a seafood establishment but the stench in this place is unacceptable and unappetizing, smells like the sea and rotten sewage. Don't waste your money.
