Common Bond Bistro Bakery - Houston

I visited Common Bond on a whim, just in need of some morning coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I discovered! The place is incredibly charming, and the pastries are simply stunning – not only do they look beautiful, but they taste just as good! We sampled the pumpkin croissant and the kouign-amann, both of which were delightful. The coffee was fantastic, and the service was even better! Kadesia, the Guest Service Supervisor, was lovely and exceptionally friendly. She made us feel completely at home, and we’re definitely planning to return the next time we're in Houston!

I ordered the Greek Honey Almond Balsamic Gelato, a Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie, some Hibiscus Lemonade and a Lemon Gateau (good but tangy af)... oh and some French Toast with strawberries and such?

Kadesia and the entire team at Common Bond Med Center are consistently warm and helpful. During a weekend trip with a friend, we visited multiple times, and each experience was delightful. The food is fantastic, and the service is even better. I wish they were located in Dallas, but I’ll definitely return!

The staff was very kind and our macarons were fresh and delicious. The chocolate chip cookie (which I loved at their other location) had too much flour and was super cakey?didn?t end up finishing it. Our Bundt cake was also very dry. The inside isspacious and there are a lot of tables to do some work but for the price of these pastries, I wish the quality was a lotbetter.

The only downside to my experience here is that I live three hours away. This place quickly became our favorite brunch spot on a weekend girls' trip. The food was almost too perfect to eat. Every ingredient was incredibly fresh, and the pastries and dishes were so beautifully presented that it was tough to choose from all the delicious options. The staff welcomed us as soon as we arrived and even remembered our group from the day before! I will absolutely make the effort to return the next time I'm in Houston.
