Cafe Azur - Houston

This is for an experience we had here a year ago, so I can't go into much detail.

I was looking forward to checking out Cafe Azur for some time I love French food and the reviews are pretty good.

This place is a great spot for lunch! I really enjoyed my meal here yesterday. The atmosphere is wonderful.

Hostess didn't know how to confirm reservation told me the system was broken then said the restaurant was under new mgmt and they didn't tell her anything . That was after she told me it would be a 40 minute wait and I was surrounded by empty tables. The manager finally came had us seated and our server was terrific! I stopped another young lady on the way out and told her that I wanted to confirm my reservation was confirmed with open table and she saw it immediately and took care of it. Hostess should be trained or let go. She probably was just ready to leave and had to stay because of the 3 employees that came in all together late.

The service was great. There was not a crowd when we were there so noise was managable
