Bubba's Texas Burger Shack - Houston

This place was always great when I've been here for six years. I recommend the Bisonburger. The bison packs a whole lot of clean, fresh meat flavor with very little fatness. Add a soft fried egg for an extra treat and a silky, creamy texture, although I would also suggest a slice of melted cheese and jalapenos on it for a beautiful variety of contrasting flavors. Others, there are many other topping options on their menu. The only bad thing is to sit outside in the heat, as there are no indoor seating available, although if this is a very big problem for everyone their burgers are always available to go.

Tried for first time based on reviews. I wanted to order as basic a burger to taste the quality of the beef and bun. First impression was a nice fresh taste of lettuce and tomatoes. Cheese was normal American and the bun almost had a chiabatta texture taste, still good. The young lady who took my order was very nice and helpful with recommendations. Overall, burger to me was not as flavorful and juicy as I hoped for. To be fair, the 1/3 pound patty was cooked well done. The taste of the patty reminded me of pre made ones you get from Costco or Sam?s. Not much seasoning for me. I?m glad I at least gave it a try.

Really good burger. I had the bison burger and it was great. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Definitely will eat here again.

I love trying burgers from everywhere and this was delicious! You are to order, fresh and beautiful, thick burgers. I'm glad I ordered a single piece because a double would have been too much! If you order a double, bring your appetite! We sat outside on one of the beautiful days of Texas and enjoyed us. I'd try the next time. I had a bacon cheeseburger and mushrooms.

Great quality homemade Texas burgers. Tons of outdoor seating. You can build your burger just how you like it with cheese, bacon, chili, avocado, mushrooms or an egg. All burgers come with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, mayo, mustard, ketchup or bbq sauce. Small dirt parking lot off the side of the freeway that fills up when they are busy.
