Bidrage med feedbackAlways authentic French dining with a terrific wine list. Cozy elegant at the same time. Be sure to try the crepes champagne for weekend brunch!
Food was great, but service was slow and unattentive.
We really like max and Julie's for brunch so we decided to try it for dinner and we didn't enjoy it as much. The fish I had was bland with a medley of vegetables that we either over or under cooked. I never know what I was biting into... I will definitely be back for brunch but maybe not for dinner...
Took my 2 teenage daughters just for fun, and had a wonderful time. The place was full and vibrant, but the service and food made the evening. We had escargot, chateaubriand, and a soufflé and it was all top notch. Will definitely be back soon.
We do not live in Houston, but when we visit for long weekends we usually have a meal at Brasserie Max and Julie or at the sister restaurant, Cafe Rabalias. The menu at Rabalais is more varied and the wine list longer, but both provide excellent rood and service.
