BonFire Wings - Houston

This restaurant used to be my favorite spot for wings. I pre-ordered 30-45 minutes in advance because I knew they could be busy at night. However, when I arrived within that time frame after being told it would only take 10-15 minutes to prepare, I was informed that they didn't have any breaded wings ready and it would be another 10-15 minutes. The quality of the wings has also significantly declined. I traveled all the way from Alief for these wings, only to be overcharged and have to wait longer than necessary. It seems that this business is going downhill since I first tried their wings 5 years ago.

I ordered the gumbo in a small size through Uber Eats and it was so delicious that I decided to visit the restaurant today to get more. When I arrived, I ordered the bowl because I knew I wanted a larger portion. However, when I received my food and saw the bowl, I realized that it was essentially the same size as the small portion. I asked the cashier to show me the small size so I could compare it to the large size, and I mentioned to her that it was practically the same amount. If you plan to dine there and crave more gumbo, it's better to order two small portions instead of the large one. You'll get more food and the cost difference is only around 1 dollar.

It's wasn't too bad, the wait time was just way longer than expected and the chicken could be sauced a little better. Really wanted to put 2 stars but thats kinda messed up lol

Not only that the quality has changed drastically. I drove all the way from alief for these wings to be over charged and to wait longer than I needed to for these wings. Safe to say this business is going down the drain since I first had them 5 years ago

I ordered some wings to go, but was informed by the cashier that they would not start making the order until I arrived. This policy seems nonsensical and is disappointing in the restaurant industry. I will not be returning to this establishment. Wing Stop, on the other hand, prioritizes the guest experience and I will be choosing to dine there in the future. Food: 1/5
