Backstreet Cafe - Houston

A very popular restaurant, part of the Hugo's Family of restaurants This was my 2nd time dining here, and I loved it as I did the 1st time. Parking is street or valet, my suggestion is the valet, save yourself a headache and enjoy your meal. Thehave a ramp up for wheelchairs ??. The ambiance is warm and inviting, downstairs, upstairs is bright and somewhat comfortable,indoors and outdoors dining is available. Food and service is over the top, Excellent Meal ????.... Prepare to spend a fewdollars ???? ???? ????, however, you'll walk away very happy ???? ????.

After being to a few of Hugo Ortega's restaurants I was interested in trying out Backstreet Café. I must say I was not disappointed. All the food was of great quality and the staff was attentive and helpful. It's really hard to choose a favoritedish, but If I had to I'd choose the Wood Grilled Hugo's Burger. I also think the oysters are a must, get the full order ifyou're in a group of 3 or more. Lastly, the desserts are completely made in house (including the ice cream). I recommend theapple crostata, if you get just one. I can't wait to go back.

I love houston and the opposite where this restaurant is. the staff is friendly and very friendly. the food is so delicious and fresh, the desserts are delicious! that was for our elders 38th anniversary!
